Good evening experiences fill up weeks ahead and the great ones go first. Below: the 15 to book early, what each includes and how they differ.
Set out at 6 pm from Hotel Marshyangdi for a 2.5-hour small-group rickshaw ride through Thamel and Asan, ending at Kathmandu Durbar Square. Your guide explains temples, markets, shrines, and Freak Street, while the included entry fee and return ride keep the evening simple.

Travel from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Chitwan for jeep safaris, a Rapti River canoe ride, bird watching, jungle walks, and a Tharu culture show. Visit Pashupatinath Temple from Kathmandu, Thamel, or Boudhha, then watch the Bagmati Aarati around 6:00 to 6:30 PM. An English-speaking guide such as Razz or Shankar explains Hindu rituals, cremation customs, Shiva worship, and the meaning of the lamps. Leave your Kathmandu hotel around 2:00 pm for a private drive to Nagarkot.
