You travel by tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara, then trek through rhododendron, bamboo, and oak forests to Annapurna Base Camp. A small group of up to 12 uses tea houses, with an English-speaking guide, meals, permits, sleeping bags, and ground transport included. Expect a moderate physical challenge and early starts.
